I am now heading out to Uganda, leaving behind me the crowds of the College World Series here in Omaha. Only an apple pie for desert could have made this departure more American. Juxtapose that against the African country I am about to enter, and I am in for quite the culture shock.
I can’t be sure of anything except that today begins the greatest adventure of my life – Africa or bust!
